Channel Management Channel Management

A chain of intermediaries, each passing the product down the chain to the next organization, before
it finally reaches the consumer or end-user. Each of the elements in these chains will have their own
specific needs, which the producer must take into account, along with those of the all-important
end-user. Employees in channel management may be warehouse managers, material handlers,
importers/exporters, transportation specialists, or inventory managers.

Marketing Management Marketing Management

People with careers in management and entrepreneurship formulate policies and direct the operations
of businesses and corporations, nonprofit institutions and other organizations. In small firms, the owner
or chief executive officer may assume all advertising, promotions, marketing, sales and public relations
responsibilities. In large firms, which may offer numerous products and services nationally or even
worldwide, an executive vice president directs overall advertising, promotions, marketing, sales
and public relations policies.
